Cancer is a disease in which cells in the body grow out of control. When cancer starts in a woman’s reproductive organs, it is called gynecologic cancer. The five main types of gynecologic cancer are: cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar. (A sixth type of gynecologic cancer is the very rare fallopian tube cancer.
It is important to pay attention to your body and know what is normal for you, so you can recognize the warning signs or symptoms of gynecologic cancer (cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers).
Cancer prevention is action taken to lower the risk of getting cancer. This can include maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding exposure to known cancer-causing substances, and taking medicines or vaccines that can prevent cancer from developing.
We have following clear objectives.
To create an awareness about various kind cancer, pertain to women.
To give preventive advice.
To provide screening report and test of various reproductive organs of women for the safety and prevention.
To guide and refer clinician to for further treatment.
Project Activities& Methodology:
This Project will be consisted following activities.
Community Awareness
Identification of Tribal women based on primary symptoms
Medical Screening and Report
Counselling and Referral
Reporting and Documentation
We expecting following clear outcome about the project.
1. Significant awareness about the Re-Productive Cancer Prevention in women.
2. 300 women will be screened for Breast Cancer.
3. 700 women will be screened for Cervical Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Uterine Cancer, Vaginal and Vulvar Cancers.
4. Community will be aware about Re-Productive Organ Cancer Prevention and Early Stage Symptom.
